StudyMEDIC Academy P Ltd (hereafter mentioned as StudyMEDIC or the COMPANY or WE), an award winning training provider for national and international premier medical courses; follows a set of very transparent refund policies which are clearly written below.

We understand that, sometimes things may go wrong from either side –from the students’ or from the company’s side. So, we do consider requests for refund on valid reasons. Under any circumstances, we keep cent percent transparency in all our policies.

Our refund policies clearly indicate the circumstances under which you can get the refund and which you cannot request. These policies also explain the circumstances in which you remain ineligible for a refund.

All applications for refunds shall be scrutinized by the Company which also holds absolute authority to approve or disapprove student’s requests for refunds. The company may initiate the refund if reasons are found valid and may reject if the reasons are not satisfactory. We have no hidden charges for refunds and under all circumstances; we strive hard to provide 100% satisfaction to our customers/ students.

Refund Policies

Though our refund policies vary depending on the mode of subscription, our policies are applicable to each course, subscription of course products, and any other paid service we offer. Students can request a refund under the following circumstances.

  • If the company fails to provide access to the purchased course or library products within 72 hours from the time of purchase/subscription, unless agreed by the student or notified to him/ her.
  • If the company cancels or withdraws any course due to any unpredictable reasons, syllabus change or anything which is beyond the company’s capacity to control.
  • There lies no obligation to provide a refund or credit in situations like the following.
  • If the student decides to quit or discontinue the course due to their own personal reasons.
  • If the student drops out after attending a few classes.
  • If the student has postponed/ rescheduled their exam. (See Question G for details).
  • If the student has accessed our premium course library features.
  • If the student has made the payments by mistake.
  • If the student fails to submit documents in time and thereby remain ineligible for the exams.
  • If the student does not meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the exam governing body /authority. (Refer Question ‘F’ for details)

Refund Policy for Subscription

Students can request a refund for the subscription amount under the following scenarios.

  • If the subscribed product was not made accessible within 72 hours from the time of purchase, unless agreed by the students otherwise.
  • If the products are not available for over 72 hours of time due to technical concerns such as server issues or anything which made the material unavailable to access.

No refund requests shall be approved-

  • If the student has accessed our premium products and quits before the end of subscription period.
  • If the student fails to make use or access our product due to their own personal reasons.
  • If the student remains ineligible for the exams but has accessed our products for a while.
  • If the student postpones or reschedules his exam.

Termination of Subscription/Access on Fraudulent Usage

We may cancel or terminate your subscription if anyone else other than you is found accessing our services with your login credentials which we provided for your use. Our subscriptions are for SINGLE USE and only the SUBSCRIBER /STUDENT alone should access our products and courses.

Sharing the login credentials to other persons goes against our policy. We may cancel the access to our product or course to students who violate this rule. Under this circumstance, no refunds will be issued. Students should secure your account/subscription with proper authorization.

Any breach of our policies will result in termination of our service with no refund. Securing one’s account remains the prime responsibility of the student. He or she shall not share his login credentials to anyone else under any circumstances without the prior consent of the company.

Frequently Asked Questions about Refunds!

How Do I Get Payment Back?
Once your request for refund is approved, the company will initiate the refund either to your bank, credit card or the original method of payment.

Will I get the full amount in refund?
The bank charges will be deducted from the principal amount when we initiate the refunds. Tax fees are also non-refundable.

How Can I Request a Refund?

Can I get a refund in another currency?
The company provides you a refund in the same currency which was used by the student at the time of purchase. No requests for repayment in another currency will be accepted or approved.

How long refunds take?
Once your request for refund is approved, the company will initiate the refund process on the same day or on the next working day. Refunds will normally take 30 to 45 working days, but may vary depending on your bank’s policy.

What If I am not eligible?
Under such situations when the student is found ineligible for the exams either due to a failure by the student in submitting the required forms in time or due to any other reasons for which StudyMEDIC has no role to play, the company is not liable to pay any refunds. However, the company holds a special provision for them to join our next batches for the course they have already paid for. This special provision is applicable only if the student has not accessed any of our course library products or attended the classes.

What if I postpone or reschedule my exam?
If you have decided to postpone or reschedule your exam, the company is not liable to make any repayment to you. However, the company holds a special provision for you to join our next batches only if the student has neither accessed our course library products nor attended our classes.

Important Notes to Read & Remember
The discretion of approving or disapproving the refunds is solely entitled with the company. The company will scrutinize each request for refunds and will approve or reject only on valid reasons. We request you to carefully read the entire policy before you make the purchase, so as to avoid all sorts of future hassles.

Refund Policy Regarding Special Offers & Discounts

All special offers and discounts are valid for a certain period of time alone. Once the period is over, the validity of that offer also ends. Hence, we urge all students to read the following clauses of refund policy before they make payment to subscribe or enrol to our courses.

  • The company shall not refund any students if they have enrolled for any course at a discounted price under any special and seasonal offer or discount.
  • Any course products purchased or subscribed at a discounted price using any special or seasonal offers shall also be non-refundable.
